I'm working for a Japanese telco named NTT Data Corp., as a strategic marketing manager in Tokyo. I live in Ebisu. I have joined this site NOT to enjoy chatting games with ladies but to find my new life partner. Chatting fames with ladies at such site as this is a big waste of time for me. I am VERY serios about fiding my new life partner. I promise to mom in the Heaven that I am NOT a pervert or scammer! Frank Kawamoto, my father, and was taught a true Gentlemamship is by my father(90). No smoking, No alcohol(socially only), no playing with ladies, no gamblings, and I hate any kinds of violences. It's the fact that I am a 52years old middle aged business professional but my physical age would be 38, especially my blood age would be just only 37 to 38 years old at a routine through medical check done on Aug.'15. Pls don't use Internet Cafe with professional translator but from your own PC or iPAD. Good English must be the MUST between us. I do want kids with my life partner. Thank you for reading my boring message. Look forward to your interest in me. Ken Takeshi Kawamoto, Ebisu, Tokyo.

What makes me special is that I am world travelor, linguist, who can speak many languages and a person who is driven by creativity and spontaneity with a balanced and conscious view toward life. I have a very taste that puts in a zest in life. What I am looking for in life is to fulfill my purpose to society, and the universe in fulfilling my destiny. When I am not filling this forms out I am either doing research, teaching English, French, Spanish, Greek, Italian etc. at my own business, or teaching elementary students (which is by the way one of the best jobs in the world). In addition when not filling these forms out, I am usually chilling in my apartment, exploring Tokyo, japan etc., hanging out with friends or at a nearby coffee shop etc...What I love about living in Tokyo is speaking Japanese, the food, culture, and the vibrancy and innovation of the greater Tokyo area. Particularly where I live I love the clean air, gardens, trees, and convenient shopping malls (Machida). What I don't like or what I find difficult is making friends in Tokyo or even more relationships with someone. Unless your friend or family it is a little to meet someone, so that is why I am on this site. I am from Los Angeles, but originially from Cleveland Ohio, (home of Drew Carey and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame). I am going to live in Japan for at least a few years and then see how it goes from here....Maybe you could be the reason I stay longer, I am certainly open to that ( i am not too overly pro-america at all). Or maybe I can teach you some French or Italian...

First of all, this profile is in English. I'm sorry, but my Nihongo level is not high enough to write a meaningful description. I'm still working on my skills however, and I study a lot. To accommodate you, my "about me" section will be divided into two sections: A short description and a long description. 1) Short description: For people who prefer to save time, or reading a long story in English is stressful. 2) Long description: For those who have time and prefer to read my sincere, thoughtful post that best describes who I am. ~SHORT DESCRIPTION~ I am a single American guy who is well travelled and sensitive/accepting to most foreign cultures. I have an interest and respect for Japanese culture and language and I demonstrate this when I am in Japan. I have been to Japan 5 times so far and it is my favorite country to visit. I am generally well-received there, as I am polite and friendly. Even though I am very tall and I am an obvious foreigner, I am approachable and easy to talk to. Physically, I am tall and medium weight for my height - not skinny/not fat. I look much younger than my age, so my pictures that are posted are recent ones. I'm not trying to trick anyone by posting fake pictures or making false claims. I pride myself in being kind to others, even with strangers. I usually help people and do small gestures of kindness such as open the door for someone, let someone else have the seat on the train, and help pick up someone's dropped items… Even if it is a man. I have many hobbies including snowboarding, skiing, international travel, tennis, golf, wine tasting, collecting Puma jackets and shoes, and going to great restaurants with friends. There are many more, but these are just a few hobbies. I also like to be funny and humorous. Although I joke around a lot, I don't overdo it. Don't worry, I won't embarrass or annoy you. I’m entertaining. I am also educated and have a serious side. I would say I'm very well rounded in personality. Thanks for reading. ~LONG DESCRIPTION~ I will tell you that I am a nice guy, but I encourage you to find out for yourself. I very laid back and relaxed, perhaps even charming at times, but I do get a little bit excited when I am doing my favorite hobbies such as snowboarding, going to the onsen, doing international travel, and visiting friends. I just love life and I try to enjoy it, because it is short. Yes, life is short it is cliché to say something like that and a million other guys probably that write in their profile. But the reason I say it is because I recently had a catastrophic snowboarding accident (February 2013) and I nearly died. However, a rescue team was able to find me quickly and deliver me to the hospital by helicopter, where a talented surgeon was called in to save my life. I am recovering from a broken neck and it is going very well, thus far. I can walk again and I am expected to make a full recovery. I look good and it’s hard to tell that I even had an accident. I am grateful that I did not die! Now a little more about my personality: I have a strong, healthy interest in Japan (history, people, culture, food, nihongo, etc.). Don’t worry; I’m not an otaku or strange person. I promise. However, I do have a long-term goal of living and working in Japan. My plan does not involve being an English teacher in Japan. It’s not for me. I have a higher ambition than that because I want to do advertising, marketing, and website analysis in Japan. After all, I spent a lot of time earning my masters degree in this field and I am dedicating so much time studying Nihongo. I'm honest, funny, active, and amicable. I am very easygoing and never get into arguments with anyone. Well almost never. Is that hard to believe? I’m non-confrontational and don’t like to debate. I have opinions but I don’t need to force them on to others and “win the debate” like some westerners do. I’m gentle and appropriately funny. You will feel comfortable and safe around me. Most of the time, I am well received, no matter where I travel. When I am travelling internationally, I am especially respectful and try to immerse myself into the culture as best I can. My biggest fear s to be classified as a typical arrogant American. And when I go to Japan, I try to speak Japanese. I'd like to say that I'm an expert in Japanese culture, but I don’t have delusions. The truth is that I am not even close to expertise. I would like to be, but it's impossible. I have studied a bit of Japanese culture in university & graduate school and I also have hands-on experience, but I still make a lot of mistakes. Honest mistakes, but I learn from them. But I'm polite and I try not to embarrass people or make them feel uncomfortable. Because I'm a foreigner, I'll never truly understand what it is like to be Japanese. I accept it, but it doesn’t make me sad or hopeless. I hope you accept that I am a foreigner as well. I am temporarily living in Lake Tahoe, but I consider San Francisco my home. I lived there for many years and love the city. I go there frequently, as it is a short drive. Thanks for reading this long-winded description. Maybe you read both? ☺
