I do not know where to begin. I'm single. I'm 37. I have two daughters (but living with their mother) whom I love very much and light my life. Mmmm just returned from my third trip to Japan- have travelled far and wide in the country, most recently to Yakushima, although based in Tokyo on that trip. I would love to return the hospitality warmth and vitality that I have been shown in Japan. I am creative- love galleries, architecture and film. I make films, having worked extensively in the music industry- would love to wander, browse and chat aimlessly with someone- either in London or Paris, Berlin or Venice. First allow me to probably copy everyone else by saying I hate writing this stuff. Hey, I'm a relative new comer to Bristol and I've been single a little to long so I figured I'd make a vague attempt at resolving that in a city where I know no one by taking to the internet. I'm somewhat of a nerd and proud of it. I collect comics, play a lot of games (computer games sure, but also board games) and enjoy all kinds of movies. In terms of my work life I semi-retired from the world of antique restoration not too long ago, but life is getting fairly boring so I'll probably start looking at what else I'm qualified to fill my time with soon, as I've had enough of solitude in dusty old workshops for one lifetime. I could keep going but I guess it's good to leave a little bit of mystery to uncover though actually talking. That said if you're looking for random conversation starting topics and what I've written so far doesn't provide, here's a few more totally random facts about me: I once went on the BBC show Total Wipeout I helped create the PC game War for the Overworld I've met Tommy Wiseau (The man who made possibly the worst movie of all time) 7 times. One last thing, I'm known for being a little shy, so while I'm trying to brake apart that state of mind, I'd very much consider it a kindness should you choose to message first ^-^

I am English but have spent a long time abroad and have only just returned to UK. From my time abroad, I have found an Asian approach to life appealing and so I would like to meet more Asian people but now that I have come back to UK, I also want to stay here. I am embarking on a new life: I am doing a new course, I have a great new flat (right next to my favourite pub) and I'm meeting new people. I live almost on my own (I have a very dizzy cat).
