I have never been in a serious relationship, I do not have any kids, so I am single. It is not a personal choice, but I have not found a woman who can understand the person I am. I have been let down a few times in the past and because of that I am cautious. However, I came to realize that shutting myself down is not the right choice; when someone does that, opportunities of finding a special person will go away and never come back. Every single person around the world has the right to be in a serious relationship and be happy, however, love is possibly an amazing feeling which allows you to develop yourself, your inner being becomes more in tune with the world and you develop even more along with the person you are interested in. If I was to have a serious relationship, I would have to have the physical structure, such as ''stability'', which is something I am unable to offer due to THE choices I made in life and the consequences that are being felt to this day, THAT IS WHY, DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS WILL BE HARD TO ACHIEVE, THAT IS WHY I CANNOT PROMISE ANYTHING, BUT IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE ELSE WHO HAS EVERYTHING-MONEY, POSSESSIONS, I WISH YOU GOOD LUCK. The step above has to be taken into consideration because a woman would rather have a man with a ''foundation'' than with no foundation at all. I am just being honest. I would have to reorganize myself, as I am a very complex individual, I have qualities, but I also have negative points- I am unorganized, disheveled and someone who is insecure, as I have been let down a few times, I have not secured stable employment, and that is something a woman looks for in a man, a stable base where both can work together. I have to learn how to be more confident with myself, be positive and look forward to a better future. The past may be stopping me from going forward with my future, but I am hoping to start afresh, with a clean slate and learn how to be a better person. I believe that age is not a problem or distance, but you have to look into everything from a practical perspective that is practical. Age is just a number which does not stop a person from developing feelings for someone older, however, if you are 20+ and you fall for someone older who has no financial stability and is complex, would you still attempt to pursue such a relationship? DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS CAN WORK AND MAY NOT WORK, ALL IS DOWN TO THE INDIVIDUAL AND THE WILLINGNESS THEY HAVE TO TAKE IT FORWARD Distance also comes into play, I am not saying that distance is a huge problem, however, you have to consider whether the time and effort you put into it is worth pursuing, Someone once told me-What is the point in pursuing a relationship online and when that person is so far from you! You better find a woman who is local and around your age or someone who is from your own country. I said-Going out might not work, and being online can offer that opportunity I am looking for, and whether it works or not, at least, such experience will be enlightening. Whatever life brings, I will always be pleased for every experience I am involved in. I am currently living with my mother Maria, she's 62 and at present she is at home as she had a major operation (JANUARY 2024), to remove her cancer, I hope she makes a quick recovery and improves her health. I have 3 brothers-Victor aged 39, Marcelo 41, & Valter aged 45 and 2 half-brothers- William who's 22 from my mother's side and Max who's 23 from my father's side. I have 3 nieces-Lara, Ana clara & Eva, and a nephew called Michael. Marcelo, Valter and William live in Boston, Lincolnshire. I am hoping that my brother William gets his foundation degree in Graphic design. He is also thinking of studying for his final year here in Boston to complete his Degree. I am an individual who has an independent mind per se. I enjoy having conversations on any subject that may come to light, such as: Politics, humankind, Religion and so on, even though I am not religious. My physical characteristics are that of an average man-brown eyes, brown hair, no beard, 1'75 meters in height and 100 kgs in weight. I am no prince charming and I have no intentions of becoming one. The world is filled with gentlemen whose intentions are to lure women with their beauty, charm and charisma. I am a man who is not a show-off, I'd rather be myself than being someone I am not. As you can see, this is like a book that I am writing about myself, my life and those who live around me. I am an open book, I have nothing to hide and my policy is-Be yourself, Do not hide anything from anyone. I hope that what I wrote doesn't make you feel bored. I am writing about myself, I am not here to convince you or anyone else. Honesty is the best policy. Here are other facts about me: 1-I was raised as a Roman Catholic, baptized in a small city called Aveiro, Portugal. I am not religious, but I have my ups and downs with religion and its doctrine. 2-I have been single most of my life and it is normal here in the U.K and in Europe to be single. There are times when those who have a single status have been criticised for living a life with no-one. I just tell them-I live life according to myself, I am the one who imposes my own laws, rules and I can do whatever I want. It is not that I have not tried to be involved in a relationship with a lovely woman, it is just that she has not come, the right woman has not come. I am not fussy, but you don't want to meet someone and end up not having anything in common. 3-I do not have any kids and probably I may not want to have them as I am too old and I do not have the stability to offer. Age should not be a hindrance in having kids, but in my case, I do not have the stability and I do not have the means to have them. That's my honesty. 4-I do not drink, unless during special occasions-Birthdays, Christmas etc. I do not smoke, never liked the taste or smell. 5-My education is the same as High school level, I have a National vocational qualification Level 2 in Electricity/Electronics. I did not have much practical experience as the course in question did not offer the practical experience I wanted. 6-I have been working as a Cleaner on an on/off basis, it is not a great job, but it pays the bills and allows me to help myself and my mother. 7-I am originally from Portugal, but my father was born in Angola and I also have cousins and an aunt living in South Africa. I also have a niece whose name is Ana Clara, she is 19. she was born in Brazil, but lives here in the U.K, 8-I have been to a few countries-Brazil, Bolivia, Philippines, Indonesia, Iceland, Luxembourg, Germany, Venice in Italy, Malta, Spain, Singapore, Paraguay, Dominican Republic. I am hoping this year to travel, but I am not sure where to go. 9-I wear casual clothes, I am not into clingy clothes and I wear clothes that are comfortable. I do not have any style in sight at all.
