Hi, I'm a creative, fun and intelligent guy (or I hope so!). I like to experience new things and I aim to get the most out of life. I'm looking for the same from a partner. Although I love my life I'm looking for someone to share it with and that's what's missing. Can you help? Ok, now for the random ordered list of things about me.... I try and keep healthy and active. I go to the gym 3 times a week. I ski and try and go a couple of times each year. I used to run a lot and this is something I'm trying to get back in to. Same goes for climbing which as an in-doors sport I love (and yes you can really climb in-doors!). Not sure about going "high" up the wall, but I love the technical challenge of bouldering. I can cook and this is something I enjoy very much. Add this to a love of going to new restaurants and you could say I'm a bit of a foodie. Friends have joked I should open a restaurant. I'm a frustrated musician who wished he had a sense of rhythm - but I'm working on it! I've recently been learning to sing, not that I want to perform in front of other people, it's a personal thing and quite good therapy (unless you're the person within ear shot of me and then it might be torture!). Maybe the frustrated musician comes from a passion for all sorts of music. I have a huge CD collection and I love going to gigs. I want to travel more - I love going to new places. Anything from new cities to amazing scenery. Japan has to be high on my list of places I want to visit. And more beach holidays please! I've not had enough of these so far. I can do mad nights out and quiet nights in. I can be happy with just my partner or equally as comfortable in a group of friends. I'm not that keen on pubs though, prefering a restaurant, or a cool bar. For a quiet night in, cooking something fabulous for dinner is a favourite, maybe curling up in bed to watch a film after. Both of these are always better if you have someone to share them with. I'm not one of those guys that hate shopping either. I more than happy to take part and come along and help (I'm talking about fashion shopping here ok :D). I am pretty clean and tidy at home (don't ask about my work desk) and I know how to use a washing machine. I'm also pretty handy with DIY. I'm very lucky in that I enjoy what I do as a job and get great satisfaction from it. Having said that I do leave work at work - it's not something I bring home. I get to be creative as well as having to do the usual mundane things and I love watching something I've designed and put into production get used by people. I should also explain that I am divorced. I got divorced about 10 years ago. I was married for a couple of years to a girlfriend who basically wanted to stay in the country or she'd have to return to Australia. It was a bit of both giving it a go and enabling her to stay. I guess I'm telling you this just in case "divorced" puts you off and I'd rather be honest than hide it. I have and open minded attitude towards most things in life, from sex to food to places to people. I can be romantic and love planning surprises - from the simple to the extravagent. All I ask back is that you have the imagination to do the same :) (is that too many smilies now?) Anyway, enough of me, if you want to know more then drop me a line. Hope to hear from you
