.Ok so I've been told I'm honest, genuine and easy going - and mums never lie right? I love to have time to reflect and meditate and middle aged as it sounds I like to read and learn rather than struggle to hear people in loud bars or watch tv (although I enjoy the odd film or comedy). I'd like meet someone calm, reflective and sensitive who flies by their compass:) Ideally someone who looks after themselves (exercise, healthy eating, personal growth (however that manifests to them), and likes to reflect on deeper issues rather than be caught up in the superficial or materialistic... If you don't think I'm asking for too much please say hello. For me its about finding someone who I connect with and who doesn't say "oh you think too much"... to much:) Work/study wise: I'm studying an MSc in Person centred psychotherapy and I work for TFL (as a dial-a-ride driver- it helps elderly and disabled get around) , study (psychotherapy). I used to be sales (ok charity fundraising which in many ways is worse than sales I'm sad to say) and as TEFL while I travelled. I've been lucky enough to travel and live in some great parts of our planet but now the time feels right to work towards my career as a Psychotherapist and to stop looking for look inside for happiness not outside. I'm more of a "let's have a coffee and meet in person" type of person than an "endless emails" type of person. I love getting to know people and engaging in real conversations so even if there is no romantic spark it's great to meet honest, congruent people who also like to explore the deeper nuances life has to offer:) I like: being outside (weekends in the country, coast) Running (it's actually more like jogging now and I don't really like it, but I can see what happens to people who don't do it) Catching the odd (occasional not strange) film at the cinema Buddhism (the teachings not big on organised religion per se, but I even lived in a Monastery for while) Family (...I would go as far to say they are the reason I am here;) Psychotherapy (a little obvious given previous comments) Travelling, I've done a fair bit and lived abroad but now feels like a time to look at the internal rather external landscape (apologies I'm mildly aware that could sound slightly pretentious) Non duality (ah at last a teaching for the soul that doesn't involve outdated, protocols and unchallenged beliefs to manipulate people who don't want to think for themselves... ok sorry rant over) Meditation (morning and eve when Im not rushing to get coursework in) Honesty (with myself and others) Quantum physics (the tiny parts I can grasp anyway) Living in the moment (breath in, breath out as my meditation teachers have taught me:) Psychology, philosophy and of course football
