☆About me☆ I'm Japanese, but I've spent half of my life outside of the country. I've lived in the Philippines, the US and the UK, and of course, Japan! It's been a great experience coming back to my home country and getting to know my roots. I spent a bit of time wandering here and there in Japan. The most memorable job I did was working at a ski resort. I worked during the day and skied every night. I loved the whiteness of the snow and how the mountains soaked up everything--not just sound, your thoughts as well--and left you peaceful. I decided to go to nursing school almost 4 years ago, something that I'd always wanted to do. Can you imagine going to an almost all-girls school in Japan, with strict nurses as teachers? I got introduced to plenty of my Japanese roots then. :) My friends tell me I'm "genki," which sort of means outgoing and full of life. I do sometimes find myself the only one laughing out loud at things. I also have a slightly selective memory for positive experiences, and have worried my friends if I have memory problems. :) I am curious about the world, and could spend hours watching the Planet Earth series, gazing at the screen in awe. I am quite adventurous, and if there's a hobby you do that you'd like me to try, I'll be the kind of person who'll always say "Yes!" I love eating, I love walking in parks, I love going to museums. Have you been to the Miraikan (a science museum) in Odaiba? I think you'd enjoy basking in all the ideas floating in that building. ☆What I’m doing with my life☆ I've been working as a nurse in a hospital for about two years now. I love interacting with people and being useful, so I'm really excited to have found this job!
