I'm a short, chubby girl who was curious about OkCupid and what it is, so I joined to check it out. I'm pretty much interested in everything and always excited to try anything new. I feel at my best when I'm on the road travelling, but I need my rest too so I can be a homebody for days on end after being away for a long time. I'm a little unique my friends would say. I dont like conforming and socialising in big groups. I'm cool with being independent, eating alone etc, I dont find it awkward hahahaa But of course that doesnt mean I dont enjoy the company of my friends. A balance is best I would say =3
My likes:
•Books: I particularly like historical fiction. Like 'Empress Orchid' and 'The Last Empress' from Anchee Min. Anything that I have watched the movie of and liked it. I read alot of chinese manga as well.
•Movies: I really like psychological thrillers. Movies with twists! Kind of like Saw 1 & 2, but just without the gore. Movies that make you think or leaves room for interpretation or make you feel like you have gone on a journey with them, like Inception, Shutter Island, Gone Girl.
Other movies that I like: I Fine, Thank You, Love You (Thai comedy), all the Marvel movies (Thor, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers etc), Disney movies, Seemingly immature ones (eg The Duff), Biographical Interpretations (A Beautiful Mind), The Prestige, Star Trek, The Shawshank Redemption, Harry Potter (All of them)
•Shows: I enjoy sitcoms alot!! Mainstream stuff like HIMYM, Scrubs, 2 Broke Girls, Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, My Name is Earl, Happy Endings, The Middle.
Reality TV: Masterchef, ANTM, Project Runway
Anime: Psycho Pass, Gosick, Baccano!.
Dramas:
~Korean period dramas: Queen Seondeok, Jumong
~Chinese: 兰陵王.
~Japanese comedy/mystery dramas: Mr Brain, Kindaichi
~English dramas: Once Upon A Time
~Variety shows: Korean stuff like Happy Together, Running Man, The Return of Superman.
•Music: I can grow to like almost anything, from drama OSTs, to anime openings and closings, to sad mandarin songs that can be belt out at karaokes, to mainstream english pop hits that are hot in the moment, but I do like EDM/Remixes alot but specifically only a few get it really right.
•Food: I love spicy food. Top 5 things I love to eat/drink: Curry (anything, normal on rice, yong tau foo, laksa, anything), Hashbrowns, Mac N Cheese, Fettucine, Milo. But of course I enjoy all hawker food too.
