The most valuable thing that any person has is not gold, diamonds, cars, etc., it is time. Scammers waste our time. We have so precious little time. I know that North American (USA) culture, Southeastern Asia, Eastern European, South American, Caribbean, and Chinese cultures are all very different, and I find myself seeking to know my world better. I have been on the other sites for far too long now - being very cautious and realistic. Here I am still... I wonder why? I have learned that I want to find a woman that does not have any children or grown children that are now out on their own. We wish to be free to travel whenever we might be able to do so. So - if your preference is to move to the USA - I am NOT your guy. I would be willing to move to you - if you are that special woman. If you are adventurous and would be willing to relocate somewhere within your country or to a different country other than the USA - I am open for that as well. I am already retired, and STILL plan to move outside of the USA in the next 6 months (it is February 2018 as I update this). So, wherever ou live, I am very open to finding you and meeting you there. I am not a sex tourist - and seek a real companion. I do not want a short term girlfriend when I come to your country. I am a really nice guy .. some would call good looking or attractive. You need to be that judge. I am very outgoing, friendly, not shy, and talk to everybody, so try not to be jealous - I like people - all people. I can't stand in a line and not strike up a conversation with those around me. I am told pretty often that I am "one of the smartest people that they have ever met". I am looking for a lady with a big heart. Beauty comes from the heart - and a big heart = big beauty. Her origin, or race or religion or skin color is not nearly as important as her love of life, and others. I know with most women family is important. I will respect you and your family. I am not wealthy but would help when I could. Do I have a job? I am retired. Right this moment I am writing my second novel. First one was not published - but this one will be! It is going to be really good! Traveling the world has inspired me. I am ashamed that I had failed in my sobriety, but back on track now - so I DON'T DRINK alcohol anymore. I used too - far too much. I paid a very high price due to my drinking - and wish to never do that again. I am still tempted (rarely). It made me fat - and I am working on being in better shape. The picture in the cowboy hat was about 20 lbs. ago. But I don't mind if you drink. If you just drink until I am really cute/handsome and really funny - we will be fine, I'll drive us home. I hope I am a guy that you would be proud to call a friend, and could count on. Trusted. I am awfully handy around the house - and am not afraid to clean - even the bathroom. I am a really good shopper. Patient in the women's department. I will tell you if it looks cute or not. - or doesn't fit. I have a really good eye. It is not unusual for total strangers to ask me what I think about their choices. I am told that I am a very interesting man - with many life experiences to count on. I think that is true. I am looking for a sincere, honest, loyal, and loving woman. In return, I will be a sincere, honest, loyal, respectful, and loving man. By the way - if you show interest in me - and haven't even viewed my profile - well let me just say - that isn't good -and probably won't lead anywhere. If you read my whole profile - and really read it - you will send a message and the first line in your message will be.. "I really read your profile." Not a standard and canned message.

Single. Straight-laced, but open-minded. Easy-going. Creative. Passionate. Risk-taker. Pragmatist. Adventurous. I'm currently working as a UX Strategist/Writer on a contract for a prominent eCommerce company south of the city. I'm somewhat new to the area, so I'm still learning my way around, and trying to determine if this area is worth calling home for a while. I'm also back on the global ex-pat trail again, looking for someone who'd like to come spend a couple of months living in Costa Rica starting in mid-December for a little yoga, tribal gathering, and maybe some surfing. Locally, I'm into doing yoga, meditation training, and other personal growth things to help balance with all of the crazy BS that comes with living here. Short term goals from now until the end of the year: figuring out how to improve my energy on all levels, get into better shape, make some sort of transition to product management or product marketing in my work, and get back into dating. Long-term, I'd like to find someone who is as unencumbered as I am in terms of material possessions, and is looking to live a more global lifestyle. Meaning: location-independent, working remotely, purging 99 percent of your belongings, and investing in experiences rather than stuff. Since I'm a writer, I enjoy a good story as far as movies are concerned, although I haven't seen one in a while that ranks in my top ten. A few older favorites are: The Pianist, Seven Years in Tibet, Kingdom of Heaven, Shawshank Redemption, Saving Private Ryan, Patriot Games, Schindler's List, Last of the Mohicans, Rob Roy, Platoon, Braveheart. Divorce Corp is one of the best new documentary films that I've seen recently, for anyone who is interested in the subject of marriage and divorce. For music, Classic Rock and Jazz-fusion, or anything that falls into that post-modern blues meets eclectic jazz genre; (John Scofield, Miles Davis, MMW, Robert Miles, Trilok Gurtu, Herbie Hancock) and of course, Sting, Donald Fagen, Steely Dan, Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew, Three Dog Night, and more. Food: almost anything flavorful. Enjoy a good glass of wine. Not into pounding beers or being pre-occupied with sports.
