Intelligent, self-confident, cocky and funny - yet very honest, thoughtful, humble and generous (with those I trust). I grew up on a farm in the Midwest and am not allergic to hard work. I like to stay in shape and I love my kids. They are, and will always be, my 1 priority. I'm from the "old school," a hopeless romantic who believes in chivalry and knows how to treat a lady, and will ensure that she is always satisfied - but she must first gain my respect. Honesty and integrity (great morals, principles and family values) are very important to me. I know thousands of people, but am very picky about my true friends - whom I can count on both hands. I am intelligent, witty and a lot of fun - eclectic and spontaneous with an unending libido. I want a woman that I would enjoy growing old with; one whose company I would enjoy, even if it meant living on a ranch in Montana, or even Alaska, with the closest neighbor being several miles away - though I'd prefer the tropics - and love the South Pacific (AU & N.Z.). It would require us to be best friends, in love and be able to trust one another 100%. Is that asking too much? Please do not contact me if that doesn't describe you, or as your friends would describe you to me. Like most people, I probably know more about what I don't want, rather than exactly what I'm looking for. I cannot read messages or respond to you on this website, so please text me at: seben-seben-oh-phive-won-oh-tree-neyen-seben-sex or email me at: steeleman at live dot com

Life is too short to not enjoy every beautiful moment that comes along, and drama is truly unnecessary. I lived in Munich, Berkeley, Lyon, Seoul, Hong Kong, San Francisco, and Ottawa. Somehow people are the same everywhere, give respect, be open, express curiosity, and things will usually fall in place. I love balance in life, love intensity and passion, sometimes being mellow. And like to explore new things. Being in tune with my emotions is very important to me. Loving and giving are essential features of life. I like to laugh, humor is truly underrated when it comes to resolving tensions or issues. I am ambitious, like to work hard when encountering a real challenge. But also love spending time with my loved ones and family, enjoying the company of my loved ones. I received my doctorate from UC Berkeley with distinction, worked as an engineer before, did management consulting at McKinsey & Company in Seoul, Hong Kong and San Francisco. The Harvard Study of Adult Development, one of the most comprehensive longitudinal studies in history (it started about ~50+ years), led by Harvard Psychiatrist Robert Waldinger, tries to find an answer to the question “what makes a successful and happy life”. I was struck by the fact that being in a loving, deep, and meaningful relationship is the better predictor for health (mentally and physically) and happiness as compared to triglycerides, cholesterol or any other biomarker. We all need loving, good and meaningful relationships to stay healthy and feel happiness. I grew up in Germany and France, and speak English, French and German fluently and Korean and Mandarin at a medium level. I would be happy to learn Japanese so we can better communicate. And also improve my Mandarin, if I get some help.
