I try not to take things too seriously, to be honest if this site wasn't so expensive it would be almost worth it just for the entertainment. There is other value here if you look for it as is the case in much of life. Such as, there are times when it helps to put your feelings/thoughts down on paper, the internet or whatever. If not anything else this site has been a valuable experience for that. Journal writing would be cheaper I suppose, but not nearly as entertaining. I am humble and hard working. I enjoy being outdoors in nature and would like to meet someone to share new experiences. My past relationships have been measured in years. I value deep connection and understanding over superficial flings. I approach relationships with passion, affection, and good humor. I am looking for that someone who ignites the fire in my chest, and causes my heart to beat faster when we are together. I have know myself well enough to say that you can be sure if I show interest in you, that I am serious. My heart is not fickle and so some of my past relationships have grown and become serious quite fast. At this point of my life I am stable and secure. I own a duplex (house divided into 2 apartments) of which I rent out one apartment and live in the other. In 3 years it will be owned without mortgage. I have a government job in the utilities division, water treatment. Sometimes I use a microscope, or spreadsheets, mix chemicals, or operate heavy machinery. It is very diverse. I have for many years been captivated and fascinated by the nature and beaty of Japan, its Culture, and people. I would very much like to purchase a house in Japan and given the right circumstances move there permanently when I retire or earlier if possible. I am interested in real estate so perhaps that could be an avenue to pursue in Japan. I am currently studying Nihongo (reading and writing). I am making good progress. I have presently learned Hiragana and Katakana and started Kanji. I study at least an hour a day. I would like to achieve the level beyond using casual language, to understand Nihongo and have the ability to express myself. I am into healthy eating and fitness. My fitness goals is simply to be strong enough to carry you like a princess. ;) I only eat out for leisure and prepare most of my own meals. I'm pretty capable of preparing a variety of food. I enjoy reading. This year I'm focusing on Nihongo and putting my reading hobby on hold.
