I'm Jason. Native American. Lakota Sioux. I've traveled much of the world as a kid and even more during my military service. I was born and raised in Texas. Lived there most of my life, but my dad use to bring me and my brother here to Nebraska to hunt as kids. It was always his dream to build a house out here in the western mountains at the foot of the Rockies. Build a horse ranch. Live life in the great outdoors. He always said its the perfect place to retire and have a blast. It's basically 8 hours drive time in the Nebraskan panhandle to any of the U.S. greatest and most beautiful national parks. Plus? It's not far from the Native American reservations. Sadly my dad passed when I was 17 in 1997. Me and my btother told ourselves we'd finish dads dream. I lost my Mother and Brother too soon in 2018. Back to back. It's just me carrying on to fufill my fathers dream. It's also my dream too. After losing my family so soon. My late wife. The war and several 5 cancer fights? The Great outdoors is heaven to me right now, but? Japan has always been one of my favorite places. I was stationed in Okinawa 1998 to 2001. My late wife was born in Kure Japan. She was my cancer doctor when I was pulled out of the war with stage 4 cancer. She worked for the The National Cancer Center Hospital in Tokyo. She traveled all the way to Texas with her staff and equipment when hearing of my case in 2008. She met me the moment I landed and wanted to be my head doctor. She was given access to all my military files. She didn't want to see a war hero die and she had heard many families on Okinawa liked me very much. That was odd for a gaikokujin (ๅค–ๅ›ฝไบบ). Then she learned from them that I was native american. It was rare for a MARSOC Marine Raiders Special Forces Battalion of 3000 men to be under the command of a Native. But my respect and admiration as well as the actions of my marines towards the locals reflected upon the officer leading them. She wanted to help me. Little did i know a year and a half later we were married in Tokyo. The Satomi family still resides there as well as in Tokyo. I lost her to breast cancer in 2017. Have been loyal to her since, but it's time I move on. Her family is still my own and they are actually here visiting me this week. Her parents and her sisters. I have a dream to finish here and I'd like to have a family one day. Maybe after? I'd like to buy a home in Japan too.
