I am an American man from a Swedish family who lives in sunny California. I've lived in Boston, New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, so I have lived all over the US and would be inerested in living in Japan, Australia, or England someday. My grandfather lived in Japan in the 1950's and I grew up hearing stories about it throughout my childhood, so I have always had respect and fascination towards the country. I've had many Japanese and Japanese-American friends throughout my life and admire the culture; I studied Japanese for a year, but have been so busy with my career that I need to work on it some more now. I am very proud of my nationality and heritage but respect and appreciate others. I manage a hotel in Beverly Hills and also am a writer and artist who has done commissioned artwork. I play guitar and also build them as a hobby, and am a WONDERFUL cook - just ask all my friends and coworkers! I love cooking Mexican, Japanese, Italian, and Chinese food, and make everything very spicy. I'm also very active and spend about 4-5 hours a day working out, riding a bike and also at the gym. I love adventures and am always trying new things; on my days off, I like driving to other cities with my friends to visit new places. I have driven across the US four times, and up and down the West Coast three times! I can't wait to do the same in Japan. I have a great relationship with my family and would love to have a great relationship with my girlfriend/wife's family, too. I love animals and have a pet parrot who's seven years old. I'd love to get a kitten or puppy soon. I don't smoke but it's okay if you do. I do drink, but not until I get drunk (because my family is Swedish, it takes a LOT to get me there).
